Right to information
Upon written request, PANOLIN AG will inform you what personal data about you (such as name, address) are stored.
Right of revocation
If you ask PANOLIN not to use your personal data for further contact or to delete them, we will do so. Data that are absolutely necessary for order processing or for commercial purposes will not be affected by termination/deletion.
PANOLIN thanks you for your visit to this website and your interest in our services and products. The protection of your personal data during the entire business process is very important to us; PANOLIN has set itself the goal of making you feel safe when visiting these Internet pages. The following explains what information is collected during your visit to this website and how it is used.
Personal data are individual details about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Information that is not directly linked to your real identity – such as favorite websites or number of users of a site – is not classified as personal data.
Collection and processing of personal data
As a rule, you can open all PANOLIN Internet pages without providing any personal information. When you visit the PANOLIN websites, the web server temporarily stores the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages visited, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, and the website from which you visit the PANOLIN websites for security purposes. PANOLIN reserves the right to evaluate these anonymized data in order to learn about user behavior and to compile statistics on them. Additional personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address is not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. during a registration, survey, competition, in order to perform a contract or request information.
Use and disclosure of personal data
The personal data provided by you will be used by PANOLIN exclusively for the purpose of technical administration of the websites and to fulfill your wishes and requirements; as a rule, this means to process the contract concluded with you or to answer your enquiry.
PANOLIN will only use these data for product-related surveys and marketing purposes if you have given PANOLIN your consent beforehand or – insofar as this is provided for by legal regulations – if you have not lodged any objection.
Your personal data will not be passed on, sold or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract or you have expressly consented to it. For example, when ordering products and services, it may be necessary for PANOLIN to pass on your address and order data to suppliers. If PANOLIN is obligated by law or court order, it shall transmit personal data to the required extent to authorities entitled to receive information. PANOLIN will not disclose personal data to third parties for other purposes without your express consent.
If you contact us by the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for the eventuality of follow-up questions. We will not pass on these data without your consent.
We would like to point out that, for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing in the online shop, the IP data of the subscriber are stored by means of cookies, as are the name and address of the purchaser.
In addition, the following data are also stored with us for the purpose of contract processing: [date of birth, e-mail address]. The data provided by you are necessary to perform the contract and to implement pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without these data. Data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing bank institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our accountant for meeting our tax obligations.
After termination of the shopping process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period (10 years in Switzerland, 7 years for Europe) has elapsed.
